2020 In Review

The aim of the Rainbow Paws Program is to provide help to pets and their people during hard times. As expected, with 2020 being one of the most challenging years humanity has faced in recent memory, the need for our services rose. 2020 saw the expansion of our Street Support
program, increasing the number of community pantries to which we deliver food. Our Code Rainbow program continued to provide access to emergency vet care for pets in times of financial strain for their owners while our Hotel Bookings program was accessed by some of the most vulnerable pet owners in our community. Through our Rolling Tuckerbox program, we were able to ensure that clients were still able to access pet food and goods. Our Snip Snip program continued to provide subsidised desexing.

We are a community organisation – run by the community for the community. Thanks to the loyalty and generosity of our wonderful donors, supporters & the Canberra community, we have been able to continue to run our programs. We are always overwhelmed and forever grateful for support we receive from our community.

With the world beginning to get back to some semblance of normal, we look forward to working with the community in ensuring all pets and their people have access to the support they need.
