Together we can make a difference
The Rainbow Paws Program is a local not-for-profit organisation supporting pets and their people through hard times. Over 90% of our funding comes from donations and fundraising activities. As such, we run on the generousity and good-will of the wonderful Canberra community. From individual donations to support from local businesses such as PETstock Belconnen, the National Zoo and Aquarium, and ActewAGL and other organisations including ACT Rescue & Foster and Animal Rescue Cooperative, The Rainbow Paws Program is only able to do the work it does because of the wonderful support we receive from all of Canberra. There are many ways you can help The Rainbow Paws Program. Please see the options below to determine what suits you best!
Donate Food & Goods
We are always in need of pet food and other pet products such as leads, collars, blankets, jackets and more. The majority of our clients own dogs and cats so any donations of (unopened) dry, tinned and sachets of cat & dog food are always greatly appreciated.
We are more than happy to pick up any donations or alternatively donations can be dropped off at a number of locations throughout Canberra. Please contact us for locations.
Sponsor a Cat Food Delivery
For a $30 donation, you can sponsor a delivery of cat food to one of our Street Support locations. Plus your donation is tax deductible!
If you would like to participate in our Cat Food Delivery sponsorship program, just make a donation (details in the 'Donate Money' section and email your details to donations@rainbowpaws.org.
Please include whose name the delivery is being sponsored by. You can also include a few sentences and a photo (of a human or pet!) which we will post on our Facebook page when we post the delivery.

We greatly appreciate any donation - large or small. The generosity of our supporters allows us to continue to fund and run our many programs including distributing of pet goods & food and subsidising vet fees, de-sexing and boarding.
