Client Questions

  • Who can access any of The Rainbow Paws Programs?

All of our programs are available to clients who hold a current concession card.

  • Are all the programs free to access?

The Street Support program are available to anyone who attends one of our distribution locations. Please contact one of our Community Partners for details on how to access their services. The Rolling Tuckerbox program is free to clients who hold a current concession card. A referral from a social worker is required to access this program. For the Code Rainbow, Snip Snip and Hotel Bookings programs, these are subsidised and the client is asked to contribute a small amount to the costs.

  • Is transport available if I need to take my pet to the vet?

No, the client is responsible for booking their pet into the vet and arranging transport to and from the vet clinic

  • How does a client access emergency boarding

In order to receive assistance with emergency boarding, we will need an individual to be supported by a social worker from a human service provider. The social worker needs to provide a referral for the client for their application to be processed.
